Types of Doctor Visits Offered
Sick Visits
If you are being seen for treatment of symptoms related to an illness or other medical conditions, whether acute or chronic, we consider that to be a “sick visit.” Hypertension, sore throat, difficulty breathing, diabetes, etc., are all reasons patients are seen for a sick visit. The examination the physician performs this visit will be limited to that illness’s body systems.
Wellness Visits
Our doctors are more than happy to provide annual physical or wellness exams for otherwise healthy patients. Generally, these types of examinations will focus on all parts of the body, whether any symptoms exist there or not, and may involve some general laboratory tests to screen for potential problems. Annual physicals are essential for staying on top of your overall health.
Sick and Physical Visits
On occasion, a patient may come in for a sick visit and may ask for or agree to a general physical or wellness exam. In those cases, the physician will provide both services, reviewing the patient’s specific health problems, and performing an overall wellness check. When this occurs, the doctor will mark both a sick visit and a physical on the charge ticket, meaning that both services will be filed with the patient’s insurance.

The physicians at Woodlands Diagnostic Clinic have been caring for the families of North Houston, Conroe, and The Woodlands for many years. We are conveniently and newly located at 9201 Pinecroft Dr., Suite 200 in Shenandoah, Texas.
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Dr. Charron offers extended hours on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Our new clinic is located approximately one-half mile west of Interstate 45.
